About Jessica Penot

Jessica Penot, LPC-S is the founder of Tree of Life Behavioral Health and The Neuroaffirmative Autism Resource Center (NAARC). She is a passionate autism advocate and the author of five novels that tell the stories of women fighting to find belonging in worlds they have never belonged in. Jessica has always been an odd duck and before she was diagnosed with autism, her hyperifxations on ghost stories and the paranormal lead her to writing collections of ghost stories for History Press and Bestselling paranormal novels. After Jessica was diagnosed with autism in her 40s, she changed the focus of her writing to focus on helping autistic people unmask and live authentic lives in a world that wasn’t meant for them. Jessica now writes for Psychology Today and her latest book is The Unmasking Autism Workbook for New Harbinger Press.
